Why is the Annual Fund so important?
Our independent school needs to raise funds because the cost of the educational experience we provide is beyond what tuition covers.
This is commonly referred to as The Gap between tuition and operating costs.
The Annual Fund fills The Gap.
Couldn't you raise tuition?
Many RRS Families in our community receive tuition assistance. Keeping tuition affordable helps us attract and serve more families. The Annual Fund allows each family to give an amount that is meaningful to them. Gifts are tax-deductible (tuition is not).
(We do raise tuition as we can without compromising our families' ability to participate.)
Why support RRS?
Your gift of any amount supports everything that makes Running River School so special! Your Annual Fund contribution ensures a vibrant educational environment in so many ways, from increased and/or different programming, grounds and van maintenance, field trips, to teacher professional development, visiting educators, and more!
